Bolloré Logistics just launched a periodic cross-border trucking service between Singapore and Malaysia. The service offers customers another transport option, apart from air and sea routes to deliver goods between two countries. The route consolidation is ideal for small cargoes, which is why the company chose to introduce less-than-a-truckload (LTL) for the new service.?
The cross-border trucking service is a more cost-effective solution than air and faster than sea transportation with a lead time of only 24 to 48 hours. Using this service, clients are entitled to several benefits. First of all, with a fixed weekly schedule, customers are able to plan ahead of time for their supply chain operations. The service also goes with a full package of tracking and monitoring for all customers. Another add-on is that goods delivered via LTL won’t be put under strict requirements for Dangerous Goods (DG) declaration.?
"We are committed to providing our customers with innovative solutions that meet their ever-changing transportation needs. We understand the challenges faced by our partners when it comes to distribution, and our new offer is designed to provide a fast, reliable, and cost-effective solution that meets the needs of our customers,” said Brian Goh, Head of Middle Office Solutions at Bolloré Logistics Singapore.
